Are you saying you can't even reset the Newton with the reset
button???
I have made several large Newton books with NewtonPress 1.1 and have
had no such problems. I have ButtonBar Plus 2.0 and NewtWorks on my Newt,
but none of the others you mention. Well, NIE 2.0 sometimes (it's on a
card) but I don't read books when it's around. I've never seen the
behavior you describe.
