Hi Matt!

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Is it that you're missing what we
commonly call the "dongle"? The dongle is a little adapter that plugs in the
strange d-type socket on your MessagePad (BTW, this socket is called the
'interconnect' port). So, this dongle has a plug that goes into the interconnect
on one side, and has a female DIN-8 port to plug your serial cable on the other
side.

OTOH, if you're saying that your interconnect port is damaged, that's a
completely different story. You would need someone who is experienced enough in
fine soldering to put it back on your MessagePad motherboard.

Anyway, if you could clarify what you're looking for, I could be more specific.
