I've asked NI people in 1997, just after I got my first Newton 120, what
they think about DAQ with handhelds like the Newton. They are simple
minded in that respect and responded that the handheld needs to be able
to run one of the current OSs and then the would do some work to adapt
LabVIEW to the situation of portables. It would be to nice to have a
graphical programming language for the Newton and if it could DAQ too,
it would be even nicer.
