Does anyone know of a freeware/shareware Babelfish-like multiple
language translator for Newton?
I know of a few commercial one's, but I feel we should challenge
ourselves to undertake the mission to truly free speech around the
globe. We may accomplish this mission in short time utilizing
communications technology.
I propose a public, platform independent, umbrella project to do so;
a non-profit organization. Individual projects would be funded by
donations, like guilt free shareware; free, spare some change to
support the movement, etc.
Why not a small bidirectional translator with modular dictionaries
distributed publicly for Newton? Palm? CE? LINUX? Any OS?
What do you think about this?
Does a program like this exist?
