I Also have been sucessful at modifying an exsisting modem script to get my AT&T modem to work with my Newton.

Mine worked with the 56K Modem. My question was whether it could be used to improve it's performance. I just could not understand why my 56K modem download emails much slower than my 33.6 modem. Especially the bigger emails like digests. Anyone has an answer?
