If you already have the serial cable you can download the NBU software from the apple site. http:\\www.apple.com. Just follow this steps: 1.- Use the search option on the main page, ask for "Download", 2.- Then choose the "Apple Software Updates for Download" and 3.-In the search box that appears after step 2, search for "Newton". You will find the Newton Backup Utility (NBU) for DOS-Windows on the page displayed. After download, just unzip the file and run the setup program. It's really easy!
