I doubt that this is "AppleTalk ADSP Tool", because Communication Manager
tools usually don't show up when the Macintosh is booting. So, it must be
something else. Launch the NCU installer again, and try to access the custom
installation script. Check the components that the installer wants to
install. Maybe you'll find it from there. It might be a previous version of
AppleScript, or a 68K version of it that your PowerBook refuses to load. Do
you know if you still have AppleScript working? Are you able to execute any
kind of script? If the installer wrongly installed an incompatible version of
AppleScript *over* your good one, then you shouldn't be able to run any
script, since it seems that the OS didn't load it at boot time.
