I suggest trying to re-install NCU - that should put all the little
things back to where they belong. It depends on how you did the
upgrade, if you did a clean install on the iMac, you should have the
old system folder somewhere around (saves time), have a look there
inside the extension folder for files like:

Apple Modem Tool
AppleTalk ADSP Tool

And similar (same icon type)
