Here's some suggestions. I don't think this is a Newton-related problem,
rather a Linux config problem (meaning I really shouldn't be posting this
on the list, oh well)

Is IP Forwarding compiled into your kernel? If I remember correctly,
you'll be needing this. Without it your machine will refuse to forward
packets that it doesn't create.

You'll probably also need IP masquerading.
