Actually, Quicken98 basic (free) or Deluxe (pay for) is "supposed" to be
compliant; it was their first their stated compliant release, which is why
they are giving it away. I just got it (Q98) in the middle of Dec, and
haven't fired it up yet. Web site for support for it has been updated as
of Jan 4th and they still say that it is compliant; of course, the couple
of year 2000 issues that people are finding in Quicken2000 (see
www.macfixit.com) make me wonder if those are present in '98 version as
well. Please share (perhaps via direct email) if you noticed year 2000
issues with Q98 (Mac).

I've not fired up Pocket Quicken on the newt for a couple months; guess I
should see if IT is compliant!
