I have a MP2k1 with a PN895 connected to our ethernet with AppleTalk
switched on in the driver slip. I can see in our huge internet all zones
as like they appear also in MacOS and I can see all Network printers,
those for the Windozes as well as those for the Macs or Linux. But I can
print only to the PostScript LaserWriters.
If you go to search for another Network Printer, you should see a
network zone selection menu too in the slip (two menus instead of only
one in a small network w/o zones). If there are really lots of printers,
as is the case here, you might not be able to see all of them
immediately. In order to print to your next printer it might be
necessary to wait until a silent hour when this printer is not so busy
and answers really fast. I was never able to use all those famous
features of our Lanier copy machine printers, like A3 or double sided
printing, but thats what can be accepted.
