Agreed 100%. It isn't a replacement. It _is_ a computer :)
I use my Newton for doing a _lot_ of stuff, and going ont he 'net
independantly is one of its tasks. I have, in the past, been witnessed
wandering the streets, newton and keybaord in hand, linked to my mobile
phone on the 'net.

Agreed. I think telnet is the best medium for getting good stuff working
on the Newton. Lynx is my primary browser on the newton...
