Well, there _was_ a protest march, and I think there was a petition. The
protest march was on Apple HQ.
By all means, go right ahead and try to bring the Newton back, but
remember that there were a _lot_ of people making noises, perhaps not loud
enough directly at Steve though.
I also don't think that many people switched right away; I see more
switching now than in the past because of a stronger need for
synchronization with the desktop. That's the biggest reason I see people
switching.
