Oddities...
Two things: first of all, i met for the first time yesterday a fellow newton-user (mp130 in hand) and, upon comparing notes, so to speak, attempted to beam him an icon from my mp2000. it didn't work. nothing I tried Beaming sent.
going the other direction - 130->2000 worked fine with notes as well as icons. any ideas?
second: the caret that normally shows where new text is to be inserted no longer shows up anywhere in any apps. it's a little disconcerting...i have installed only two new apps that might or might not be the cause: noteslider and 'options' from sbm.
anyhoo, any help or pointers would be appreciated.
