You'll have to give us some more info to go on - what error messages are
you getting? What steps are you taking, what connection cabling and
protocol are you using, and at what point does it fail?

If you're using a PowerBook and it only has one serial port, make sure
you are either using Appletalk (LocalTalk, I mean) to sync on our Newton
too....or if you are trying to use Serial to sync, make sure Appletalk is
turned off - although you can use a serial cable to make a two-device
Localtalk network and talk to your Newton with Appletalk. I did it all
the time.

But trying to do a serial connection when Appletalk is on would fail.
You need serial selected on both or Appletalk on both.

Have you looked in all the folders in the Extras drawer for an icon named
"Works"? Or in the Icon bar? If it's not there, it may simply have been
deleted and you'll have to reinstall it from the master diskettes or
CD-ROM.
