Anarchie should have worked.
There's only ONE place you can upload, and that's the /Contributions
folder. You must go STRAIGHT there; if you log in anonymously to the
main level and THEN go there, you can't upload. And you can't log in
using "newtgifts" anywhere BUT /Contributions.
So use this URL in Anarchie:
ftp://ftp.info-newt.com/Contributions/
and then when prompted for ID and password, use "newtgifts".
In Netscape, you'll have to use
newtgifts@ftp.info-newt.com/Contributions/">ftp://newtgifts:newtgifts@ftp.info-newt.com/Contributions/
(I uploaded something using that URL in Netscape 4.06 and it worked.)
I use Fetch most of the time and it works just fine. Try Fetch if NS or
Anarchie don't work.
If all else fails, mail 'em to me at newton@ecity.net or
billdavis@info-newt.com and I'll post 'em.
