Mike:

Using NIE with a MP120 is difficult; there just isn't much heap memory
available. It was just that shortcoming that led me to trade up a couple
of times to where I am now. Because of this, I suspect the problem lies
with your Newt, rather than with freewwweb.

Try temporarily freezing *everything* you don't absolutely need for
email. That may help...
