Hi,
you can use the HP Laserjet 5MP (IRDA) driver.
I used it successfully with an 4050TN in my office.
Check if IRDA is enabled in the printer panel or print out the configuration sheet.
Check if the IRDA Satellite is plugged in correctly at the back of the printer.
There is a small green led in the satellite of the printer, a little behind the red IR cover
of the satellite. This led will blink, when connection is starting from Newton and will get constant
when printing is going on.
I have to do several attempts to print, because in most cases the newton says
after some blinking of the HP-satellite that it could not print. No error message with a number
or something else. It is not very reliable. If you want to print something fast, you will have no
chance because to Murphys Law it will not print during the first ten trials (;-)(.
If someone has better experience, please tell it.
Maybe I missed something.

Good luck
fje

P.S. use the last IRDA-driver from apple it is faster
