There's no magic behind. It's the same standard behaviour of NCU on
either Wintel or MacOC. Make a connection, choose import or install
package on the Newton and go through the folders as you would do on the
desktop. But don't try to import a Word.doc file on a Wintel box. On the
MacOS you can install MacLinkPlus 9.x and have Word.docs translated into
NewtonWorks format but not on Win. That's maybe the difference. (BTW,
not only Word but also a couple of dozens of other formats).
