Steve,

There is nothing wrong with list delivery. Sometimes individual ISPs batch
email messages sent to their subscribers and then deliver them to your
mailbox internally by a set schedule. The case also may be that your ISP's
email service when doing routine maintenance and cleanup batches messages
durning maintenance periods only to avoid a service outage and bounces to
recipients.

If this is happening to you routinely, please contact your ISP -- this is
not occuring from the NewtonTalk listserver's side.

If it helps to demonstrate, last night I received messages sent by
NewtonTalk on the following schedule (and this is pretty much what it looks
like all of the time):
