I've had very good luck with FieldWorker (www.fieldworker.com) once you
get a decent cable. You can do that from FieldWorker or cheaper at
GYPS(Karen Nakamura,Global Mapping Systems,http://www.gpsy.com) which is
a great GPS source for mac users by the way!
