Hi,
Just wondering if anyone on this list is using a Hayes Optima 336 modem on their Newt. I have been using one, in conjunction with the Hayes error correcting driver, on my upgraded MP2k for e-mail and web browsing without too much trouble. However, I have found that I am unable to receive a fax using that combination. Sending a fax is not a problem and I have successfully received a fax using a Psion Gold Card 56K modem so I a pretty sure that it is a driver problem.
Has anybody else had success receiving faxes using the Hayes combination?
Any suggestions/advice gratefully accepted.
