It may be that Loren has no old backup which could be updated. I think
the error arised while she needed to do a first complete backup w/o the
possiblilty of selection of what to backup. Even if one tries to use an
old backup file for partial backup it often stops after a few seconds
with error -1 and leaves a 64kB temp file of no use.
