The manual says take out cards to do the real hard resets where you clear all data (holding the on switch down while pressing reset button until you get delete all data? window and go
yes there).

Which reminds me, i just did that and I still have no caret where I tap the screen unless I tap twice and summon the onscreen keyboard. Does anyone have a cure for this?? I fear the
build-in hardware chip has develped a glitch. Or Bugs Bunny has nicked it.
