Thanks to everyone who gave me tips for getting Palm Desktop on my iBook,
NCU and my MP130 to work together. Unfortunately, I'm still having no luck.
I've tried it with a fresh copy of the Claris Organizer file in the
Itellilink folder. I disabled the "Instant Palm Desktop" and other Palm
extensions, as someone suggested, and I no longer get the "file can't be
written to" error. However, even though it appeared at first to be working,
I gave up after it trashed all my Newton's names and dates data again
(fortunately, I had a current backup).
I may have to give up on the idea of Syncing this thing, and just export the
data from the Newton from time to time. I'm also considering using RCU.
Is there anyone currently successfully syncing an MP130 and a USB Mac using
NCU and Palm Desktop?
