No David, they're actually physically the same. Only the embossed Apple logo is replaced by a round logo with the Apple logo silkscreened on. Newton Inc logo was supposed to go on this. MessagePad 2100 is printed below this logo in silver. On the top left Corner near the screen is the Newton logo with the words Newton Technology silkscreened in silver.
