Are you sure you did install all NIE components? IIRC, many people were
having a similar people because of something like that. Also, you're not
saying where the problem happens exactly. Are you able to establish a
reliable link with your ISP before getting the error?
If not, make sure that, in the internet setup you're using to connect,
you specify the slot where the modem is. If you open your setup, there
should be a "Modem Settings" item. Tap on it and check the "Connect
using". Make sure you select the slot where your modem is.
