Hi newtoneers
Further news from the ongoing saga of buddy Shaun's temperamental 120/2.0.
I connected up the adapter from my eMate and removed the batteries.
It actually started up! Maybe the extra little bit of current from the
adapter helped, anyway it lasted long enough to go through 'setup' after a
hard reset. Then when I turned it over to put the batteries back in it
died again and has refused all forms of revival ever since ( I balked at
 mouth to mouth BTW )
Any ideas? It seems to me like the power is just not getting through,
maybe a dodgy power switch or a dry solder joint. Do 120's have a history
 of switch problems ? TIA

Also, new on the search for fellow newtonites here down under down under.
There's actually I guy at my new job who has a standard 2000 with all the
gear! At last someone to share with....
Check this, he tells me that some guy offered him $100AU for it (Keyboard,
8M Flash card etc.) I quickly told him what his little green baby was
currently worth ( about 6/7 times that ), all about NTLK and the current
project of one Paul Guyot. We talked for ages and then realized that his
supervisor was giving him the cold stare ( Hehe........ I'm my own
 department here )
So we're going to have our own Newton conference once a week!
