Simply that there are 4 serial channels:
Channel 0 is connected to the internal connector (at CMOS level) and
to the InterConnect port at RS 422. (230.4 KBits/s)
Channel 1 is the IR
Channel 2 is connected to the internal connector (at CMOS) (19.2 KBits/s)
Channel 3 is connected to both the internal conncetor and the
InterConnect port at CMOS level. It is also known as the modem port.
(38.4 Kbits/s)
