Considering that the Newton is aparantly limited to 16 bit, 22khz
Mono output, I don't know if a software MP3 player would be worth
it... now, if you were to create a hardware mp3 decoder (out of oen
of those dedicated MP3 DSPs out there) you might be able to dump the
mp3 information at it fast enough.
