Actually, if I had to bet, it's that Apple will make a slate style
Internet appliance running MacOS, with the Newton's HWR (which has been
ported to MacOS...where it probably was originally developed, as I saw it
working on Macs back in about 1991 or 1992 at an Apple Worldwide
Developers Conference). This would be a perfect fit for the sixth slot in
Apple's product grid, opposite the new G4 Cube.

Perhaps (hopefully) a dockable slate, since there has been a lot of call
for a slim-and-light dockable Mac portable, ala the old Duos.
