NTLK Newtons in Memphis, TN - they still live....

I went to the Kids Count Expo today because they had OPUS2 Computers, a
large Memphis-area Apple retailer, and they had the G4 cube on display (It's
so darned fast and cute!). Anyway I asked one of the 3 staff members if any
of the staff used a Newton and one of the guys there has a 2100 (not sure if
it was a genuine or not) and he used it extensivly. We talked for probably
20-30 minutes on Ethernet cards and drivers (which having all the drivers in
my 2000 made it easy to cross-reference which cards they sold and which
worked) and about printing over a network, wireless, etc. He didn't know
about NewtonTalk and I suggested he sign up (if you are reading this send me
an email at the address that sent this eMail). He is probably the second or
third person I've met this month locally using a MessagePad and I am
considering printing business cards promoting my now exists in my head
Newton User Group and hand them to people like with with useful Newton URLs
on the back (Planetnewton.com being one, as well as Info-Newt, This Old
Newt, etc). But I thought I'd say that the Newton is alive and well in
Memphis and being used much by their owners!
