Come again? The eMate pens snap perfectly into the Newton 2000 and 2100
case. Mine, anyway. I have several, in both the "original" and
"translucent" style. Haven't tried the translucent ones, but I keep an
"original" eMate pen on my desk at work. Snaps in perfectly. As someone
points out, the TOP is different, so it doesn't actually stick out of the
Newton like the Mp2K pen does, but it works fine.

SmallDog Electronics still has a THOUSANDS of 'em, at about $2 each, even
for a 24pk of the translucent ones.

www.smalldog.com and search for "emate"

(no, this is not the SmartDog Software people who make the BackTalk IrDA
software that lets your NewtonOS 2.1 machines talk to Palm and other IrDA
stuff. That's www.smartdogsw.com)
