Hi all,
my Newton started to become hell slow after entering a Name card in
MoreInfo with the HWR set to sketches. The HWR did not start and the
sketch was displayed in the name line and I switched back to Text but
obviously something of the sketch has been stored already. From that
moment on any tiny change consumes about 30sec to rebuild the display.
If I export all names I will most likely loose a lot of stuff because
there is no good method and I will loose definitly all my MoreInfo
PowerLinks. If I restore from a backup I get back to the same bad state.
I've tried so far two brain wipes w/o success.
Anyone else with that crap? Any ideas? Does SBM utilities help in this
case (nice reason to shell out 50+? bucks ;-)?
