I second this. Since most of my friends are
decided non-techies and AOLers (I mostly hang
with fellow actors and, as one, I can say they
are not known for their tech savvy -- no insult
meant to actors or AOLers on this list), I get at
least 2 or 3 blatant hoaxes a week, most being
6months to a year old, like this one. I used to
try to educate people, too, but I eventually just
gave up.
