The pens are pretty good, and do fit the MP2000/2100 slot (friends and I
bought a 24-pack, I think it's 10-15 bucks). The best thing to do is
hide an extra pen in your Newton's case, your desk at work & home, your
car's glovebox, etc. Having once lost my pen, you know what I mean.
