Voice dictation software is incredibly processor intensive. My G3 300
PowerBook struggles with it to keep up with what I say when I use
ViaVoice. The Newton simply doesn't have the power to pull it off.

Dragon earlier had a system working that recognized spoken words from
a list. That's much easier. They never released it.
