Thanks to all who replied.
The Ethernet route sounds the best long term but if I still need to have a
serial connection to a computer in order to get them on there then maybe
I'll be better off down the serial route? I don't have anyone who can beam
me the packages I need.
I have a modem in the machine. Can this be used to somehow retrieve the
packages from another computer?
