Kenny,

This thing isn't straightforward. I've tried receiving a bunch of messages,
reading them with the Paper Stationery, then deleting them, with no memory
loss...
---------

Well, I completely removed SimpleMail and use EnRoute on my MP2000 and
LunaSuite on my MP2100 now, although I liked SimpleMail's features. There
still may be some fragmentation and consequently loss of memory, but I
couldn't verify the degree yet. After I'd installed SimpleMail, memory was
eaten up in large chunks, so the effect showed even after a day or two .
That doesn't seem to happen now, but I suspect there always is a
memory-leak in correspondence to the number of mails you download and
delete. I still want to check and see whether there isn't some
fragmentation with any mail-program you use, though to a lesser degree.
