No, it shouldn't - that's probably caused by a setting in your Interet
Setup. If you go into Internet setup and tap on your internet settings,
find change the "when closing, disconnect..." option to something other
than "immediately".
I set mine to never since I have a ADSL connection that's always on. You
may not want to do that for a dialup connection though, but you
DEFINITELY don't want it set to "immediately".
