By all means, someone can start a dialogue, but I'm skeptical for only one
reason. Most companies that sell map software and the like actually
licence the map data from other companies. This doesn't come cheap.
Teletype has to pay their data providers for every copy (most likely).
Therefore, them giving away their data providers' data for free would not
make the data providers happy, even if it was for an 'obsolete' platform.
