And the info that has been posted here a lot, but I'm not sure it's in the FAQ:

The Apple-branded Printpack cable has a chip with the drivers on it, and
the drivers get automatically downloaded to the Newton. The GDT Printpack,
will work but the drivers are not in the cable, you install them yourself
on the Newton.

Maybe there's one person here who hasn't read this, yet :)
