Here are some questions:
ATA
_Without the beta ata what is the largest flash ram
card which can be read and written by a newton 120
running OS 2? OS 1.3? (maybe its in the faq - but I
have not seen it and do not remember seeing it...)
Will ata beta run on newton OS 2.0 ? OS 1.3?
I am willing to be an ATA newton 120 OS 2 / OS 1.3
beta tester!
Cables (lots of questions... answers appreciated!)
What cable combination would allow a Macintosh II to
use an IBM PC monitor?
IRDA Convertor: I have found IRDA converters which let
you use an RS232 port as an infra red port! Is there
any point to such? Would they work with the newton 120
OS 2? As far as I can tell the IRDA on the newtons
OMP-130 is pretty much useless. Or am I wrong?
Do conversion cables exist for the following
connections?
USB to ISDN: Do cables exist which allow the use of an
ISDN (telephone) connector as a USB port?
USB to DIN: I presume DIN is the mac keyboard standard
(and may be wrong...)
RS232 to USB: I presume rs232 is a serial or modem
port
Newtonscript questions:
Are there any good online newtonscript tutorials OTHER
THAN NEWTATUT? Sorry Mr. Weyes, Newtatut does me
little good. I have NTK _BUT I find the semi "visual"
approach "semi" programming approach confusing.
Did the list get the bigkeys and bigkey packages I
authored and submitted? HINT: If you want me to
develop newton software (other than books) point me to
some online tutorials...
