It is relatively easy to print to la inux Ghostscript supported printer via a
network connection. Unfortunately, at the moment my only connection to the
Newton is via serial cable (I do have a Dacom combo modem/ethernet, but it
does not work woth the Newton), so I was wondering if I could find a working
intermediate solution. I guess I will have to swap my combo card for one that
works with my MP.

Exporting documents (as RTF files) does indeed work, but I did not like it as
a final solution, because a certain amount of the native formatting will
inevitably be lost.

Thanks for the reply anyway.
