I currently use the iRez Kritter USB, which has decent resolution and
crispness. It doesn't have as good of a low light capability as my old
serial-based Color QuickCam, but it makes up for it in speed and
resolution. They also have a FireWire-based camera which uses the same
CCD. For software, I also recommend Evological's CoolCam.
