There's a documented bug in NIE 2.0 where you have to select the card
slot the modem is in for it to work, you can't just leave it to
"either slot" in the setup. I'd guess this is your problem. Does that
make sense?

Do I understand you right? NCU 1.0 is now on the Apple servers? Praise be!
