My MP 120(2.0) appears to have died. I inserted a Hayes Optima 144
Fax modem into it and it promptly shut down. I was unable to reset
it and it now refuses to power on. What makes this even odder is
that just yesterday, I inserted the very same modem into the Newt and
it gave me a window saying that a communication card had been
inserted.
Is there anything that I can try to get the Newt back up? I forgot
to do my weekly backup yesterday, and I have a lot of new data on it!
