This is a fairly common error. As you may or may not know, on a
Macintosh, files have an invisible file type and a file creator. When
you get files from a ZIP archive that was most likely created on a PC,
the files in the archive don't have this file type and creator
information.

There is a package from Steve Weyer that will fix this. You just drag
the file onto Steve's application, and the file type and creator will be
fixed.

I'm pretty sure that the packages don't display the usual icon for
Newton packages...
