Hi all,

now I returned from my vacation in the homeland of Newton and re-subscribed
to NTLK. My MP2k1 felt really happy, the AC-Adapter worked well and my
modified battery compartement served as quick charger for the accus of my
digital camera.
The Gulliver2 application helped me too with its set of 'trip phone
numbers'. 5 years after cancellation all needed numbers where still okay,
that's great in our fast paced time and long in comparison to the lifetime
of e.g. a PEECEE 8-(~~~
Beside the use of my Newton as bedside lamp and alarm clock I used it only
very little time to track the expenses and the gas consumption of the car(s)
(Yes, cars, we had to swap the car twice because of 'common car error' light
;-)
BTW, Gulliver2 shows an amazing world map and a moving airplane as you're in
the sky and it calculates the elapsed and remaining time to arrival, based
on the trip segment settings. However, the small map was much more
instructive for my kids, since the flight entertainment system was defekt in
one of the UA planes (Newton replaces flight status display... hmm, what a
cool thing :-)

Last and least: Apples iTools provide an IMAP and POP-able e-mail account
for free with 5MB storage space (see my new address). I hope that this works
a bit longer than newted.dyndns.org did.

Best regards

Marco Mailand
