If the iPod grows to include other things than MP3s, as some have
dreamed, I'd love the iPod to grow to encompass some of the things
that Newton used to have.
I hope that SJ and company will pay attention to the complaints that
have circulated on this and other mailing lists over the years. The
main complaint that I (and others) have mentioned is the lack of good
coordination between the Newt and the Mac.
The iPod solves the problem for MP3s. As far as the advertisements
claim, everything's automatic. I hope that future enhancements for
video, email, etc. etc. are just as smoothly integrated!
